When is the Colorado IBS?
Classes begin on Tuesday, June 18 and end on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. (You can find a complete class schedule here.) You’ll want to plan to arrive on June 17. Onsite registration will be held on Monday, June 17 from 2:00-4:00pm.

What are the dates for first-year courses for New Staff?
During Summer IBS, you'll have the chance to complete two courses: Intro to Christian Theology and Bible Study Methods. These courses do not represent “hoops” to jump through. They play an integral role in preparing you for the ministry to which God has called you. Through these courses you will have the opportunity to be refreshed in your spirit, revitalized in your vision and renewed in your thinking.
Intro to Christian Theology and Bible Study Methods will run from Tuesday, June 18 to Monday, July 1 (with the ICT final on Tuesday, July 2). Please arrive for on-site registration on Monday, June 17th. You will also need to attend an IBS Orientation at 7pm on Monday, June 17th. Click here for more scheduling information.
Please note that there are two weeks inbetween the end of the first-year IBS courses and the required Cru19 conference. You may want to consider taking extra IBS classes those two weeks instead of making two trips to Colorado. You will save money on the cost of on-campus housing if you stay all summer.

How much is tuition for IBS courses?
Tuition for each IBS course is $260 ($350 each for grad credit).
If an individual staff member takes four IBS courses, they will be elligible for a $260 rebate (see below).
For information about the cost of housing and other expenses, see the "costs" page on the Cru19 website.
This summer we are offering a $260 tuition rebate to anyone who successfully completes any four of the eleven required IBS core courses. This is effectively a 25% discount in the cost of your IBS classes. (NOTE: Audited courses do not count toward the four classes.)

If your plans have changed and you are no longer coming to IBS, please send an email to csu.info@cru.org with your name and account number and tell them what courses you need to drop (or add). NOTE: If you add any courses, it is your responsibility to secure the books for that class. You can find a booklist here.

All IBS Courses Accessible to Moms
In the past some moms were hindered from participating in IBS core courses because some of these courses were not offered during times when childcare was available. This summer all IBS courses are offered during the time that childcare is operating. If your family has been assigned to IBS for the summer we would encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to grow deeper biblically and theologically.
