Summer 2025 IBS Opportunities
We are continuing to make changes this year to our traditional format of courses in response to feedback we have received from staff. We are offering a greater variety of Live Virtual and Prerecorded courses this summer, in addition to some changes to our In-Person courses in order to better meet the diverse needs and preferences of staff. Courses at Rollins will again take place over a 3-week format, instead of the previous norm of 4 weeks. There will also be an option to take God/Bible/Holy Spirit in Milwaukee just before the National Staff Conference.
Campus Staff assigned full-time IBS will be required to take 3–4 courses. Couples with dependent children should take at least 6 courses between them. Part-time means taking 1–2 classes over the summer. Courses can be taken from one or more venues. Staff are encouraged to take as many courses as possible In-Person (most of them are at Rollins), but are not required to come unless they cannot take the minimum number of courses otherwise.
We will continue to update course options as they are finalized, includuding those marked as TBD.

Graduate Credit
**Graduate credit (in addition to IBS credit) is only available for in-person and live virtual IBS courses through one of our five seminary partners. Taking a course for graduate credit does not increase your workload because courses are already taught at a graduate level. The only difference between IBS credit and graduate credit is the cost. NOTE: To be qualified to receive graduate credit you must possess an undergraduate degree.
Tuition Rebate
For staff that complete four courses, or couples (with children) that complete six courses in any mix of formats, there will be a $300 rebate. The rebate is not applied to your costs until you have completed the courses.
Course Attendance
You cannot miss more than 20% of a course and still receive credit.
Refund policy for withdrawing from IBS courses
- Full refund if withdrawing by day 1 of a 1-week class, day 2 of a 2-week class, week 1 of a 5 week class.
- No refund if withdrawing after the dates above.
- Email ibs.info@cru.org to withdraw from a class.
