In-Person Courses in Orlando for Summer IBS
We are excited to be able to offer in-person courses once again and glad that you will be joining us! There are many advantages to taking classes in-person, which we outlined on the Summer 2024 landing page.
Courses will be held Wednesday, June 20 to Friday, July 12. There will be no classes on July 4 or on weekends.
Preparing for In-Person Courses
IBS courses move at a fast pace. Many staff have discovered that by completing most their reading before they come, their learning experience at IBS is more enjoyable and less stressful. We strongly encourage you to order your books and do most or all of your reading before class begins. Course syllabi will be added by the end of March.
Location and On-Site Registration
All in-person classes will be held on the campus of Rollins College, 1000 Holt Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789. Map of Rollins College.
We will provide details later with the exact location for your courses and other pertenient information.
On-site registration will be held in Seymour Hall. If staying on campus you can pick up your keys (and linens, if pre-ordered) at these times:
- Monday, June 17: 2-4 p.m. (no registration, only keys and linens available during this time)
- Tuesday, June 18: 5-6 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 19: 3-6 p.m.
- Thursday, June 20: 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 4: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- If you're arriving outside of these times and staying on campus, please email ibs.info@cru.org at least 48 hours before your arrival to arrange to pick up keys.

Shuttle/Taxi and Luggage Drop Off #4 (GPS Coordinates: 28.591895, -81.346999, or navigate using the Rollins Museum of Art. Seymour Hall is the 5 story yellow building near the museum.)
Parking: Truist Parking Garage #15, Rollins Parking Garage #14, or Sutton Apartments #12. There is a $10 per week charge for a parking pass.
Transportation:
Arriving by plane: Fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) or Orlando-Sanford Airport (SFB). Please make sure your flight arrives early enough so that you will have plenty of time to get to Rollins for registration.
Arriving by Greyhound bus: The Greyhound bus station in Orlando is about 10 miles from Rollins College.
Arriving by Amtrak train: The Winter Park Amtrak station is about half a mile from Rollins College.
