Childcare will be available M-F for all four weeks of IBS. There will be a $50/child non-refundable registration fee which will be added to your conference costs. Childcare costs are $125 per week per child for the morning session (7:30am to 1:00pm) and $75 per week per child for the afternoon session (12:30pm to 3:30pm). Housing

Housing Options
On-campus and off-campus housing is available for everyone - singles, couples and families with children. Unlike CSU where singles and couples without children are required to live on campus, at Rollins you have the option of choosing to live on or off campus. If you will not have a car with you while at Rollins, you will need to live on campus.

Please note that these prices are from 2016. Updated price estimates will be available early 2018.

There are four housing options available:

1. On-Campus (Dorm Room) with or without a Meal Plan: Dorm rooms are available to singles and couples without children.  The rooms are air-conditioned and include two desks and two XL twin beds.  Married couples can push the beds together and use king sized sheets. The rooms are suite-style, with a bathroom shared between two rooms. If you choose a double dorm room, you will share a dorm room with another IBS participant, but there are a few single dorm rooms available for those who do not want a roommate. Married couples should choose the double dorm room option.

Pillows, linens, and towels are not provided. You will need to provide your own, or you can purchase a linens package (pillow, pillowcase, sheets, blanket, towel and washcloth) for approximately $50 when you register online.

If you live on campus, you will not need a car and will have convenient access to our computer lab and IBS library (which will be in one of the dorms) as well as a short walk to class.  In addition, you will not have to worry about cooking any of your own meals.  (Rollins has contracted with Marriott for their food service.)  Meals are served buffet style, with a wide variety of options. Past IBS participants have found meals to be a significant opportunity to connect with other staff. There are no cooking facilities in the dorm.

The cost of a double dorm room for all four weeks of IBS is approximately $870* ($1073* for a single room) per person. The cost of a double dorm room for two weeks is approximately $450* ($555* for a single room) per person.

If you choose a meal plan, there are 3 options:

  • Lunch Only (M-F): $182 for all 4 weeks; $91 for 2 weeks

    Dinner Only (M-F): $204 for all 4 weeks; $102 for 2 weeks

Lunch and Dinner (M-F): $386 for all 4 weeks; $193 for 2 weeks

If you prefer not to pre-purchase a meal plan, you can pay cash in the cafeteria for meals or can eat at one of the restaurants within walking distance of Rollins.

2. On-Campus Apartment (Sutton Place Apartments) – These furnished apartments have a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Each bedroom has two XL twin beds and two desks. Married couples can push the beds together and use king sized sheets. Apartments do not include kitchen items (dishes, cookware, utensils, coffeemaker, microwave), a TV, or linens. You will need to bring or buy these items. You can buy a linens package (see info under "On Campus") when you register online.  Families who will be at IBS for all four weeks will be given first priority for apartments, but there are typically enough apartments for everyone that wants one. Meal plans for the Rollins cafeteria can be purchased (see options under "On Campus" above).

One bedroom/one bathroom apartments are $1044* per adult (kids are free) based on double occupancy for all four weeks of IBS. The total cost of the apartment for all four weeks of IBS is $2088*. There are a limited number of one bedroom apartments available.

Two bedroom/two bathroom apartments are $1566* per adult (kids are free) based on double occupancy for all four weeks of IBS. One way to save money is for two couples or four singles to share a two bedroom apartment. The total cost of $3132* would be split by the number of adults in the apartment.
